Emergency Management Coordinator (DHSEM #10109887+)

Position is responsible for implementation of state level emergency response plans in accordance with New Mexico Operations System and Federal requirements. This position supports the departments duties set forth in NMSA 9-28-5: coordinate the homeland security and emergency management efforts of all state, local government and tribal agencies, as well as enlist cooperation from private entities such as health care providers; provide information to the general public and private businesses essential to ensuring safety and security and to provide the Governor with timely information relating to emergencies, disasters and acts of terrorism or terrorist threats; coordinate state agency, local and tribal government plans for prevention, preparedness
and response with a focus on an all-hazards approach; work with emergency response and emergency management programs, provide assistance in developing and conducting all-hazards response exercises for emergency responders, government officials, health care providers, and others.

Salary

$29.23 – $43.85 Hourly
$60,800 – $91,200 Annually

Grants Accountant & Auditor Supervisor (DHSEM #10112775)

The key responsibilities of this job are oversight, mentoring, auditing, accounting of financial and grant activities and reports, managing annual audits and conducting bi-annual monitoring visits, and supervising employees.and response with a focus on an all-hazards approach; work with emergency response and emergency management programs, provide assistance in developing and conducting all-hazards response exercises for emergency responders, government officials, health care providers, and others.

Salary

$32.15 – $48.23 Hourly
$66,880 – $100,320 Annually

Sub Grants Analyst (DHSEM #10114854+)

This position exists to perform activities in support of the grant administration duties associated with the federal disaster and non-disaster grant programs awarded to NMDHSEM by the United States Department of Homeland Security (USDHS)/Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), and U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) and for the New Mexico State Disaster Assistance Program (DAP). Grant administration duties include analysis of submitted grant reports; requests for grant amendments and extensions; and auditing of requests for reimbursements to ensure compliance with grant requirements.

Salary

$26.57 – $39.86 Hourly
$55,273 – $82,909 Annually

Facilities Supervisor (DHSEM #4246)


Assigns duties, as well as approves time, and performs evaluations for three employees under his supervision.
Oversees operation of facility such as buildings, equipment, vehicles, grounds, etc.

Make sure Academy is in compliance with Federal and State of New Mexico EPA Petroleum Division requirements for fuel storage
tanks.
Maintains Class A/B/C certification and trains Maintenance personnel to be Class C certified under EPA Petroleum Division requirements.and response with a focus on an all-hazards approach; work with emergency response and emergency management programs, provide assistance in developing and conducting all-hazards response exercises for emergency responders, government officials, health care providers, and others.

Purchasing Supervisor (DHSEM #17937)

This position exists as the departments Chief Procurement Officer and will ensure the department and its sub-recipients follow proper procurement practices by reviewing, processing, and approving all purchasing activities.

This position is responsible for serving as the P-Card Administrator; reviewing procurement activities; processing and approving procurement documents; reviewing purchasing and obligation requests for the department; and will serve as the Chief Procurement Officer with authority to execute contracts for Request for Proposals (RFP), Invitation to Bid (ITBs), sole source procurements, and emergency procurements, as well as overseeing contract management to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies.

Salary

$32.15 – $48.23 Hourly
$66,880 – $100,320 Annually
