Codes Construction Operations Manager (DHSEM #10112115)
The primary purpose of this position is to oversee and manage construction projects and staff assigned to construction projects involving fire and life safety systems per requirements of fire code.
This job requires weekly travel for up to 5 days a week to perform these inspections. This position may be assigned other duties that will not interfere with the primary job duties stated above. This job is a critical function of this agency as fire inspections help maintain public safety throughout the State of New Mexico.
Salary
$36.43 – $54.65 Hourly

Training and Development Coordinator (DHSEM #10102893)
Position is responsible for coordination and direction support for the statewide homeland security and emergency management all-hazard training program within guidelines established by federal grants, DHS National Training and Education Division (NTED), and DHSEM’s Training and Exercise policies and manuals. Position is tasked with providing training technical support and assistance to state, local, and tribal stakeholders in the coordination, assessment, development, delivery, and evaluation of training courses to strengthen the preparedness of the State of New Mexico to prevent and respond to threatened or actual disasters whether natural or man-made. Position will assist in directing and coordinating all training activities for in- and out-of-state delivery including coordination with national training consortium partners; maintaining current training materials for virtual and in-classroom delivery of courses. Position will maintain all state and federal electronic documentation for the training program while coordinating with local preparedness coordinators to ensure all identified training needs are being met by DHSEM.

$22.62 – $33.93 Hourly

Tribal Liaison Emergency Management Coordinator (DHSEM #74690)
Identifying ways to serve our Tribal partners in a more consistent and culturally appropriate fashion that is effective is what this job does in a number of ways. On a consistent basis, this position reviews, evaluates and influences our customer product to be appropriate and applicable to our Tribal partners. This position ensures that there is no cultural divide between the agency and our Tribal partners. When one is identified, this position mitigates that and provides guidance to the Cabinet Secretary and the Department.
