Senior Budget Analyst (DHSEM #10118424)
This Senior Budget Analyst position exists to support the effective development, coordination, and oversight of the agency’s budget and financial operations. It plays a key role in preparing the annual Appropriation Requests and Operating Budgets in collaboration with Leadership and the Finance Bureau Chief. This position ensures accurate and timely submission of budget documents through the Budget Management System and assists in maintaining the accuracy of budget adjustments throughout the fiscal year. It also prepares various budget-related forms, provides monthly budget projections for grants and special funds, and reconciles expenditures to budget to ensure fiscal integrity. Additionally, the position tracks budget activity, enters journal entries, and compiles financial information for internal and external reporting needs.
Salary
$26.57 – $39.86 Hourly
$55,273 – $82,909 Annually
