Rebuild, repair, and resource expo for residents who experienced fire and flood damage

SANTA FE – DHSEM’s Disaster Case Management team will be hosting Contractor Connects+, combining a community repair and rebuilding expo with a resource fair on June 28 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at West Las Vegas High School, 157 Moreno St, Las Vegas, NM 87701.

This free, family-friendly, and open to the public event will connect residents who had damages from the flooding in October to contractors licensed by the state of New Mexico. During the event, residents will meet with licensed contractors, hear about available services, learn about processes and permits, and take the first steps for rebuilding and repairing their property.

In addition to getting help finding contractors, residents will be able to enroll in Disaster Case Management for support with navigating the recovery process and connect with other resources to help with fire and flood recovery.

Residents impacted by the Hermit’s Peak Calf Canyon wildfires and subsequent flooding who are unable to attend the event can enroll in Disaster Case Management by calling 505-670-4662. Learn more about Contractor Connects here.
